Happy International Vulture Awareness Day!

Apparently it's international vulture awareness day! I am SO aware of them, turkey vultures and black vultures are my favorite subject to paint. They are so beautiful, i'll always be amazed by them. So if you see a vulture in the sky, or somewhere near by, just wave 👋 and say "hi"

Greyscale Creatures!

Having never really used gouache paint before, I think we are really getting along. Using it was a bit hard to get used to at first, but i really like the textures it creates, all while creating flowy and light lines, to bold thin lines for details. I have been working on a little series of my favorite wild creatures in greyscale, on 6 x 6 black paper. I will be selling these at a huge warehouse party in Asbury Park, NJ Sunday, August 23rd 11-7 pm. Yes, a warehouse party, not sketchy, it will be cool...imagine a bunch of badass motorcycles, old cars, bands, and cool stuff to buy ;) That's what I imagine at least! Check out some creatures I have done so far, my favorite subject the vulture, a caracal, lion, coyote, and falcon...
